CREAMY TURKEY OR CHICKEN
CASSEROLE
 
6 slices bacon
3/4 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems & pieces, drained
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed Cream of Celery soup
1 c. dairy sour cream
3 c. turkey or chicken, cooked and cut up
2 c. Bisquick
1/2 c. milk
2 eggs
1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Fry bacon in skillet until crisp, crumble. Cook onion, celery, green pepper and mushrooms in bacon fat until tender, drain. Stir in soup, sour cream, turkey or chicken, salt, pepper and bacon; heat until bubbly, spread in buttered casserole. Mix remaining ingredients just until moist, spread on top. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown.
