PEPPER BISCUIT 
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. black pepper
1 tbsp. fennel seed
1 tbsp. anise seed

Mix above ingredients. Make well; then add:

1/4 c. oil
1 c. white wine
2 tbsp. baking powder
1/8 to 1/4 c. water

Mix well; let rest approximately 2 hours. Make any shape: circles, braids, long--fold and twist. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Place in 350 degree preheated oven for 20 minutes.
