HOMEMADE ICE CREAM 
4 c. milk, scalded
2 2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
4 eggs, beaten
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 qt. half and half

Mix sugar, flour, salt and eggs. Slowly add to hot milk and cook until thick. Cool pudding, then add half and half and vanilla. Finish filling can with milk. Freeze.

Makes 1 gallon.
