APPLESAUCE/RAISIN BREAD 
1 3/4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Cinnamon to taste
Nutmeg to taste
1 c. applesauce
1 egg
1/2 stick butter, melted
1/2 c. raisins

Mix all dry ingredients in large bowl. Add egg and butter, mix. Add applesauce gradually and mix until thick and wet (you may want to use a little more applesauce so the mixture isn't dry). Add raisins.

Lightly grease loaf or muffin pans ( use Mazola Spray Oil). Fill with mixture then bang pan on hard surface to get air out. Bake 50 minutes to 1 hour for loaf pan; 25 to 30 minutes for muffins or until golden brown and toothpick comes out clean.
