ORANGE SLICE BARS 
1 lb. candy orange slices
2 c. sifted plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 lb. brown sugar (3 c.)
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Cut orange slices in small pieces. Add to flour and salt. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Spread in greased 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan. Bake 45 minute sat 350 degrees. NO LONGER. They won't look done, but they are.) Cool, then cut 1 x 3 inch bars and roll in granulated sugar.
