DATE ROLL UPS 
1 pkg. cream cheese (8 oz.)
2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. dates, chopped
1/2 c. water
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 lb. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Combine cream cheese and butter until well blended. Add flour and salt. Mix well. Refrigerate overnight. To make filling combine sugar, dates and water in small saucepan. Cook until dates are soft. Add cinnamon and nuts. Let cool. Roll out dough 1/4 inch thick on powdered board. Cut into strips 2 to 2 1/2 inches wide. Put date mixture on strip and roll. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
