CHICKEN OR BEEF CURRY 
1 whole chicken, cut into tablespoon sizes
10 med. potatoes, quartered
1 lg. onion, grated
4 med. tomatoes, diced
1 can tomato puree
6 garlic cloves, chopped
1 tsp. ginger
4 green chilies, diced
2 cinnamon sticks or 1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cumin
3 tbsp. curry powder
Rice & 1 tbsp. turmeric & Salt to taste

Cut chicken into pieces and set in water. Peel and quarter potatoes; put in water. In large pot, fry all other ingredients together for 2 minutes. Then add potatoes and chicken with water to cover. Add salt and bring to a boil; simmer covered 30 minutes or until done.
