PECAN PIE 
1 stick butter (Imperial)
1 c. sugar
1 c. dark corn syrup
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
1 9 inch unbaked pie shell

Melt butter over low heat. Add sugar; stir and remove from heat. Let cool 5 minutes. Add syrup, add eggs, one at a time and stir with fork after each addition. Add vanilla. Sprinkle pecans in pie shell and pour mixture over pecans. Place in 425 degree oven for 10 minutes, reduce heat to 325 degrees and continue baking 35 minutes. (Knife inserted in center comes out clean).
