SOUTHERN PECAN PIE | |
1 frozen pie crust 4 eggs 1 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. dark corn syrup 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 c. flour 1 1/2 c. pecan halves Precook pie crust and set aside. In large bowl, beat eggs slightly, blend in sugar, salt, corn syrup and vanilla. Stir in flour. Mix 1/2 cup of pecan into mixture. Pour into pie crust. Arrange pecans on top of pie. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Do not over bake. |
