CHICK PEA CASSEROLE 
2 cans chick peas, drain off liquid
1 can tomatoes, plus small amount of tomato juice if needed
1/2 lb. sharp cheese
1 or 2 onions, chopped (as preferred)
Salt and pepper
Bread crumbs, Parmesan Italian or similar is good
Some Worcestershire sauce or hot sauce, if preferred

Saute onion in some butter and add chick peas and tomatoes (plus some tomato juice if more liquid desired); add salt and pepper to taste and some Worcestershire sauce or hot sauce as desired. Warm mixture slightly and then pour 1/2 mixture in casserole and use part of cheese cut in small cubes spreading on top, then add some breadcrumbs; add remaining mixture and slice remaining cheese on top, then a few more breadcrumbs and bake until somewhat bubbly.
