PEACH CONSERVE 
2 lbs. sugar
Juice of 1 lemon
1 lb. raisins, chopped
3 lbs. peaches, peeled & sliced thin
2 oranges, sliced
2 c. walnut bits

Pare oranges. Put peel and sliced pulp into pan in cold water to cover. Stew until tender. Add all else except nuts. Cook slowly for 45 minutes. Add nuts. Seal jars with paraffin. Use with meat or poultry.
