HOMEMADE BAR-B-QUE BEANS 
3 (24OZ.) cans red beans
1 1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup brown sugar (packed),
1 cup ketchup
2/3 cup dark corn syrup
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. liquid smoke
9 drops 1/2 tsp. hot sauce
Add 5 to 7 strips bacon cut in small pieces.

Heat all ingredients together until it comes to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. This recipe can be frozen in small containers for up to 6 months. Pack small plastic containers, let set to room temperature and cover tightly and chill.
