BEA VINCELLI'S POLISH ITALIAN
MEATBALLS
 
1 lb. hamburger
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 med. onion, chopped
2 or 3 cloves garlic
1 tsp. sweet basil
1 to 2 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. red hot peppers, crushed
12 soda crackers, finely crushed

Combine all of the ingredients in large bowl. Using a medium size ice cream scoop, firmly form the balls. Place on greased or sprayed 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until brown. Serve them hot or drop the balls into spaghetti sauce and simmer while cooking the pasta.
