BRIDGE CLUB BRUNCH | |
1 lg. loaf white bread with crusts off 3 c. milk 5 eggs 1 tsp. salt 12 oz. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese and set aside 1/4 c. for top Dash of pepper Dash of paprika 1 stick butter, melted 1 tsp. dry mustard Butter a 3 quart casserole dish. Beat together eggs, milk, and dry ingredients. Pour a little egg mixture in the bottom of casserole dish. Layer with bread slices. Pour egg mixture on top with shredded cheese. Continue layering with bread, egg mixture and cheese. Refrigerate overnight. Remove 1 hour before baking. Melt 1 stick of butter and pour over casserole. Top with more cheese and bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes, then at 350 degrees for 35 minutes, until browned. |
