CREAMY SCALLOPED POTATOES 
2 lbs. potatoes, about 6 medium
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 1/2 c. milk
1 sm. onion, finely chopped about 1/4 c.
1 tbsp. butter

Arrange potatoes in greased 2 quart casserole in 3 layers, topping each of the layers with 1/2 of the onion and 1/3 of white sauce. Dot with butter. Cover 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and cook 60 to 70 minutes. Serves 6.
