Pudding:

2 c. medium white sauce
1 c. crumbled crackers
4 hard boiled eggs
7 oz. pimento, sliced
1/2 lb. grated American cheese
salt, pepper and butter to taste

Layer all ingredients and bake at 375°F until brown.

White Sauce:

1 c. milk
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. shortening
1/2 tsp. salt

Melt shortening and flour, cook while stirring until smooth, add milk gradually until the desired thickness.
