WHIPPING CREAM POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter, softened
7 eggs, room temperature
3 c. cake flour (sift twice)
1 c. whipping cream
2 tsp. vanilla extract

Cream sugar and butter thoroughly; add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Mix in half of flour, then whipping cream, then remaining flour. Add vanilla and mix in thoroughly.

Pour batter into floured and greased tube pan. Set in a cold oven and turn it to 350 degrees. Bake 60-70 minutes until sharp knife inserted into cake comes out clean. Cool in pan 5 minutes. Remove to serving plate.
