SHAMI KABAB 
1 lb. boneless beef, cut into 1" cubes
1/3 c. channa doal (lentils)
3 dried whole red chilies
3 serrano chilies (more if like it hot)
1" piece ginger
4 cloves garlic
1 tsp. cumin seed
1 onion, sliced
1 1/2 c. water
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp. garam masala (optional)
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 bunch cilantro, chopped
Oil for frying

Except egg and cilantro, mix all the ingredients together. Cook until beef is tender. Cook on high until water dries off completely. Grind to a fine paste in a food processor. Add the egg and cilantro. Make patties and lightly fry in a frying pan flipping from side to side.
