BUTTER TARTS 
Pie pastry, enough to line 18 tart pans

FILLING:

1 egg
1/2 c. butter
1 c brown sugar
1 c. currants

Cream butter and sugar together, add eggs and currants. Line tart pans with pastry and fill to a little over half with filling mixture. Bake in 400 degree oven, until pastry is slightly brown. Watch carefully!
