BRUNSWICK STEW | |
2 squirrels or 1 stewing chicken, diced 4 diced potatoes 1 pt. butter beans (baby lima) 1 or 2 diced onions 1/2 tbsp. salt Pepper to taste 1 pt. corn 1 pt. canned tomatoes or 8 fresh 1 tbsp. butter 1 c. bread crumbs 1 or 2 tbsp. sugar Simmer meat, potatoes, onions, butter beans, salt and pepper. When tender add tomatoes and corn and continue to cook until vegetables are done. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer until ready to serve. |
