GERMAN CHOCOLATE CAKE FROSTING 
1 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
1 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. coconut
1 c. nuts, chopped

Combine sugar, egg yolks, evaporated milk and vanilla. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened (12 minutes). Add coconut and nuts. Spread on cooled cake.
