STEAK 
2 lbs. beef, cut in bite size
2 tbsp. shortening
1/3 c. wine
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 clove garlic
1/4 tsp. onion salt
4 c. rice
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. water

Saute meat with shortening. Add wine, soy sauce, garlic, and onion salt. Cook slow 1 hour. Mix cornstarch water and add to mixture to thicken just before serving. Serve over rice.
