2 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. farina or other grain cereals
2 egg yolks
2 egg whites

Bring milk and sugar to a boil and add cereal. Stir and cook the cereal over low heat until thick. Add butter and stir until melted. Remove pan from heat and beat in egg yolks, one at a time. Cool and add vanilla. Fold in whipped egg whites.
