ICEBOX PICKLES 
7 c. medium cucumbers, sliced
1 c. thinly sliced onions
2 tbsp. salt (pickling)
1 c. vinegar
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. mixed pickling spices

Sprinkle salt over the cucumbers and onions and let stand half hour. Drain and pour vinegar, sugar and spices over slices. Put in refrigerator in a glass jar. Will keep indefinitely and ready to eat.
