ALMOND BREAD PUDDING 
2 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt
1 c. bread, cut in cubes

Scald 2 cups milk and add butter. In separate bowl beat eggs, almond flavoring, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Add bread cubes. Pour milk gently into bread mixture. Stir and pour into greased baking dish. Set in 2-inches of warm water in a pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. Shake a bit to tell if firm. Serves 4.
