TREE - MENDOUS NO BAKE CHERRY
PIE
 
2 tbsp. cornstarch
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. water
1 (6 oz.) pkg. cherry flavored gelatin
1 qt. (4 c.) fresh or frozen pitted red tart cherries, chopped
2 c. whipped topping
2 (8 inch) pie shells (baked) or graham cracker crusts

Bring cornstarch, sugar, and water to a boil over low heat. Boil about 2 minutes until thick and clear. Stir in gelatin dessert until dissolved. Add chopped (pitted) cherries. Chill until mixture starts to set. Then fold in whipped topping. Pour into the pie shells and chill.
