OVEN POT ROAST | |
5-6 lb. bottom round roast 1/2 to 1 pkg. onion soup 1 can cream of mushroom soup 3-4 env. brown gravy Put roast into double layer of heavy duty foil. Sprinkle onion soup (I use 1/2 package for a lighter onion taste) evenly over meat and can of mushroom soup. Tightly seal foil closed and place in baking pan and cook for 4 hours at 400 degrees. When it is finished carefully open foil - some onion gravy should surround meat. Pour into pot and add as much package gravy as needed. Delicious served with noodles, dumplings, etc. |
