SMOTHERED COUNTRY CHICKEN 
3 chicken breasts
1/2 tsp. garlic powder or 1 1/2 tsp. fresh garlic, minced
1/2 stick butter
1 can cream of mushroom soup
salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp. sour cream
1 c. French fried onion rings

Place chicken breasts in baking dish with olive oil in bottom; turn to coat.

Sprinkle garlic powder and pepper over chicken. Place pats of butter in pieces on top of chicken. Add cream of mushroom soup and 1 tablespoon sour cream.

Bake for 1 hour at 350°F or until chicken is tender and cooked through.

When completed, sprinkle with French fried onion rings.

Serves 3.
