OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 1/2 c. oatmeal, pulsed fine in a processor
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips
1 (4 oz.) Hershey bar in chunks
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients - nuts and chocolate last. Make golf ball sized lumps. Cook at 350 to 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Recipe can be doubled.
