PECAN ROLLS OR WEDDING COOKIES 
2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cold water
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 full c. pecans
1 box powdered sugar for coating

Chop pecans. Melt butter in saucepan. Mix all ingredients. Add butter and vanilla. Mix well. Roll into firm cookies about the size of a date and place on cookie sheet. Chill in refrigerator 2 hours. Bake at 275 degrees until light brown. Roll in sifted powdered sugar while hot; roll again when cool. Store in air-tight container.
