2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. hot milk
1 tbsp. butter

Beat eggs and vanilla until thick and lemony colored. Beat in sugar a little at a time. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together and stir in. Heat hot milk and butter together until butter melts. Stir into first mixture and beat 1 minute until smooth. Bake at 375 degrees in an 8 inch pan. Can be covered with 5 tart apples, plums or peaches. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Can also add raisins. Bake at 350 degrees when adding fruit.
