FRIED APPLES 
5 large apples
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon

Melt butter in a skillet. Peel, core and slice apples and place in the skillet. Cook over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the sugar and cinnamon. Cover the skillet tightly and cook over low to medium-low heat, continuing to stir occasionally, until the apples are soft. Remove the lid and simmer so the liquid will somewhat evaporate and become more saucy.

Add more or less of all ingredients to make more or to suit your tastes.
