TURKEY TETRAZZINI | |
4 oz. spaghetti, broken 2 1/2 tbsp. butter 3 tbsp. flour 1 1/2 c. chicken broth 1/2 c. light cream OR 1/2 c. canned milk 1/2 tsp. salt & pepper 1/2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced 2 1/2 tbsp. green pepper, diced 1 1/2 c. cooked turkey, cubed 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated 1/4 c. Cheddar cheese, grated Cook spaghetti in salted water, drain and melt butter in pan. Add flour and blend. Stir chicken broth into flour mixture, add cream and cook until thickens. Add salt and pepper. In a large bowl, mix mushrooms, green pepper, turkey, cream sauce and spaghetti. Mix well. Place in buttered casserole dish. Sprinkle cheeses on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Goes great with salad and French bread. |
