BUTTERMILK FRIED CHICKEN 
1 chicken
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour
Salt and pepper
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. butter

Cut up chicken. Place in bowl. Pour buttermilk over chicken. Marinate 1 hour. Mix flour, salt and pepper.

In large skillet, heat oil and butter. Remove chicken from buttermilk. Roll in flour and cook uncovered in oil and butter.
