WINTER OR HOLIDAY PINE CONE HORS
D'OEUVRES
 
3 cans (6 oz.) whole roasted almonds
3 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. chipped beef, chopped
12 green onions; chop onion, snip tops into tiny pieces for garnish
2 tbsp. "Accent" (or MSG)
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 sprig fresh pine
1 box assorted crackers

Mix cream cheese, onions, chipped beef and "Accent" and Worcestershire sauce together.

Form into 2 pine cone shapes on serving platter. Cover with Saran wrap and chill overnight.

Beginning at narrow end press almonds into cheese mixture to form rows, overlapping almonds at a slight angle. Build to top of cone.

Sprinkle green onion tops at top of cone and press fresh pine sprig in. Serve with crackers.
