ICE CREAM CONE CUPCAKES 
1 cake mix
14 flat bottom cups
14 (9 inch wide x 9 1/2 inch long) foil strips
Food coloring

Preheat oven 350 degrees. Prepare cake mix as directed. Wrap foil around cones and tape. Grease top edges. Fill cones with cake mix. Place in cupcake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let cool. Remove foil and frost.

FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
1/3 c. water
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 egg whites
1/4 tsp. vanilla flavor

Mix all ingredients except vanilla and egg whites. Bring to a boil. Cook until sugar dissolves. Slowly add to well beaten whites (continue beating). Add vanilla and color with food coloring. Beat and cool. Frost.
