Roasting pan with lid Any size turkey Heat oven to 500 degrees. Insert into turkey cavity: 1 apple 3 stalks celery Put turkey in pan. Salt and pepper. Put 1 stick butter on turkey. Add 1 quart water in pan. Bake at 500 degrees for 1 hour. Turn oven off. Leave turkey in oven until oven cools. Use broth for dressing. | |
