IRISH SODA BREAD 
4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
3 tbsp. caraway seeds
2 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. milk
1 c. currants
1 c. raisins

Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Stir in caraway seeds. Lightly beat together 2 eggs, sour cream and milk. Stir into dry ingredients. Stir in currants and raisins. Pour into well greased tube pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. If desired, a topping of 2 tablespoons sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon may be sprinkled on top before baking.
