KAREN'S POPPY SEED CAKE 
Use Duncan Hines High altitude pound cake. Recipe on back of yellow cake mix. Make 4 layer (8 inch) cakes. Temp. on box. Put 1 box poppy seeds in cake batter.

FILLING:

4 egg yolks
1 tbsp. cornstarch heaping
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. sugar

Mash bananas into this and mix together. Cook until thickens. Freeze before frosting.

FROSTING:

Dream Whip container. Use yellow food coloring and decorate with sliced bananas. I use thick whipping cream. 375 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
