ORANGE CUPCAKES 
Yellow cake mix

SYRUP:

2 1/2 oranges, 2 1/2 lemons (juice and sm. amount of grated rind)
2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. acid (optional)

Add: 1 tbsp. powdered citric acid

Use any plain yellow cake mix. Mix according to directions for cupcakes. Avoid cake mixes that contain butter or pudding. They tend to make the cupcakes too soft and they will fall apart when dipped. While cupcakes are still hot dip in syrup.
