BAG PUDDING 
To make bag pudding to go with any boiled dish:

Cornmeal
Flour (1/3 as much as cornmeal)
Baking soda
Salt
Sour milk
Dried raspberries, if have, or raisins

Put in stout (equivalent to the old-time salt or sugar bags) bag that has a lot of room for expansion to rise, and boil in kettle with the vegetables. Eat, sweetened milk with nutmeg added.
