BROWN BAG APPLE PIE 
1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
6 lg. baking apples
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. flour

Combine sugar, flour, and spices. Sprinkle over apples and mix to coat well. Put into unbaked pie shell and drizzle with lemon juice. Combine topping ingredients (they will be crumbly) and sprinkle over apples to cover.

Put pie in large brown paper grocery bag, fold over twice and fasten with clips. Place on cookie sheet for easier handling and bake at 425 degrees for 1 hour. Delicious for apple pie lovers!!!!
