CHEESE GRITS | |
1 tsp. salt 4 c. water 1 c. quick grits 1 c. milk 1/2 to 3/4 lb. cheddar cheese 4 eggs, slightly beaten 1/8 to 1/4 lb. butter Add salt to water, bring to boil and sprinkle in grits. Cook for 2 1/2 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. While warm, add cheese, butter, milk and eggs blending well. Pour into 9 x 13 inch greased baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees about 45 minutes. |
