3 tbsp. fat 2 c. cooked tomatoes 3 sliced onions 1 lg. minced onion 1 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. uncooked rice, washed 1 tsp. chili powder 2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper Saute onions and green pepper until onion is yellow. Mix in fat. Add ground beef and fry until mixture falls apart. Stir in tomatoes, rice, and seasoning. Pour into greased 2 quart baking dish. Cover and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Remove cover for the last 15 minutes. You can substitute 2 cups uncooked noodles for 1/2 cup rice. |
