GLAZED APPLE RINGS 
4 med. apples
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. packed brown sugar

Cut each apple crosswise into about 5 slices, 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick. Melt in small skillet over low heat the butter and sugar. Add the apple rings and cook about 5 minutes on one side. Carefully coat slices with syrup and cook until tender.
