EASY YEAST ROLLS 
5 c. flour
1/2 c. shortening
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. warm water
1 tsp. baking soda
3 pkgs. yeast
2 c. warm buttermilk
Melted butter

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Heat buttermilk. Mix all ingredients well. Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter or glass. Brush melted butter on and bake at 425 degrees. When heating buttermilk, stir until it gets warm enough. These rolls can be frozen and reheated or kept in refrigerator 4 or 5 days and reheated.
