WESTERN PORK CHOPS 
2 tbsp. cooking oil
4 shoulder or center pork chops
1 c. chopped green peppers
1 c. chopped onions
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 c. Karo (light or dark) syrup
3/4 tsp. chili powder

In medium skillet, brown pork chops in cooking oil on both sides. Remove chops from skillet and add peppers and onions; cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in tomato sauce, syrup, and chili powder. Add chops. Simmer, uncovered, about 30 minutes or until tender.
