APRICOT SALAD 
2 (17 oz.) cans apricots (cut up)
2 (20 oz.) cans crushed pineapple
2 c. hot water
2 pkgs. orange Jello
1 c. marshmallows

Drain juice of both pineapple and apricots and mix. Prepare Jello with hot water and add 1 cup juice. Cool. Add fruits and marshmallows. Pour in 9x11 dish. Congeal. Top with topping below.

I use enough marshmallows to cover mixture in 9x11 dish.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. butter
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. fruit juice from salad
1 env. Dream Whip
Grated cheese

Mix sugar, flour, egg and juice over low heat until thick. Add butter and cool. Prepare Dream Whip according to package directions. Mix with above mixture and pour on congealed mixture. Top with grated cheese.
