YAM & CRANBERRY CASSEROLE 
2-3 lb. cooked yams, peeled or canned
1 lb. fresh cranberries (3 c.)
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. orange juice
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 sm. onion, sliced
1/2 c. pecan halves

Combine yams, juice and seasonings. Layer with cranberries in 2 quart casserole. Bake covered for 30 minutes, uncover last 15 minutes at 375 degrees. Have also used buttercup squash. Add butter on top. Little more sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes until hot through.
