LIGHT BREAD PUDDING 
1 pt. light bread crumbs
1 1/2 c. warm morning's milk
1 c. good white sugar
Butter, size of an egg
2 beaten egg yolks

Soak bread crumbs in milk; stir in sugar with butter; add egg yolks. Mix all together and put in oven for 1/2 hour. Then froth 2 egg whites with 1 tablespoon sugar. Put on top of pudding. Sprinkle with nutmeg and put back in oven until browned. Any kind of fruit makes a nice change of taste. Add fruit before egg whites.
